I have been a TrustFax client for over a year.
The feature I used more frequently was faxing to multiple recipients by sending one single email.
To my surprise, when I tried to do this on 5/5/10, it not only didn't work correctly but it kept faxing over and over again to a few recipients.
After some 25 minutes on hold with Trustfax customer service, I was told that J2 Global Communications just purchased Trustfax and that the service was moved to their servers over the weekend. They mentioned the "fax-blasting" feature is no longer available, I can't keep my line to go to another provider, and that I needed to contact J2 Global with any further questions. I was never informed of the change in ownership or service.
When I call J2 Global, after even longer waiting times, I am told that this feature of faxing to multiple recipients is not available and that it will cost me $500 to transfer my number. The representative was quite aggressive and mentioned that their contract stipulated that they can change the conditions at any time! A supervisor was not available and supposedly she will call me back...
That is not what I signed up for. I either need the multiple recipients feature or I need to transfer my number to another online fax provider.
