I totally agree with the comment above me. When I scheduled my move the sales person asked me for a detailed list of items which I provided. He then gave me a quote of $2100.00. So I booked which them.
Once they came to my house and packed everything they said we had ``too much stuff`` and guess timated how much my items weighed which brought my total to 4,980 dollars which is over double of what they originally quoted me. This is OUTRAGEOUS
In there contract that you sign online it states free use of materials and that crates are $35.00 a piece. That is a lie the delivery person charged us for materials (which they overly used) and charged us 67 dollars per crate That is RIDICULOUS
And don`t be fooled by the word ``crate``, its just two pieces of cardboard with a sheet taped around your tv etc.
Our delivery was scheduled for a week after they picked up our items,then the day before the delivery drivers calls and tells us it will be another week.
A week passes by and I call the moving company to ask where my stuff was and they couldn`t tell me.
A different driver finally called me and said it was going to be another week.
So the result sleeping on an twin size air mattress for 3 weeks with my 2 toddlers.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ITEMS YET THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU HAS BEEN CONTACTED.
THE SALES PERSON HAS NOT RETURNED ANY OF MY CALLS AND THE SUPERVISOR STATES HE CANNOT STOP HIS JOBS JUST TO DELIVER MY THINGS
