Can't practice law in NV

I paid Attorney Goodrich's office $3500 in July 2011. As of this writing they have not done anything since they have their money. Also I foud out today that he is not registered with the Bar in NV so he can't practice law in NV. I am now going to file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office in NV and State Bar Association in CA to try and obtain my $3500 for the modification as I now have to hire an Attorney in Reno NV to help finalize the loan modification process.
