Vacations Plus Travel - a company based in Banner Elk, NC - contracted with me a vacation service in 2004 that supposedly guaranteed vacations for a lifetime for 1 week each year. I paid $2,450 for this service. I had one vacation with them at a mediocre resort in Freeport, Bahamas in 2005. Since then, all vacations I've taken have been planned on my own, as Vacations Plus Travel was unable to service me in various countries nor could they service me in adequate standards.
At this point in time, I am more concerned with making this company accountable for the lack of service that they have provided...not so much about the money, even though it would be nice to have that back! My last interaction with them has been from October 2010 through today (1-26-11) in hopes of having a Dominican Republic vacation booked...as of today, many false promises have been made and the service/response has been absolutely terrible.
