I used US Search to run a basic background check on a person today who I know has a history of bankruptcy, tax liens and other negative records, but the search came up blank. I know that these things occurred 4 or more years ago, and I had detailed information about the person's full name, date of birth, city of residence, etc. In my opinion, I paid $20.90 to US Search to get scammed. The report they produced was of no value at all. If you are looking for honest background information about someone to try to protect yourself, look anywhere except US Search. They have no refund policy and they do not guarantee results. They make you believe that they have information by matching exact middle names, info you have, etc., but when you get the report that info doesn't even show up on the report. The report shows up extremely general, missing middle names, middle initials, date of birth, or any other information that they used to get you to buy the report. What a waste of time and money!
