I bought the Happy Traveler 14” wood magnetic chess set. I would say it got to us in a timely fashion and the quality was good. I shopped around a lot and read many reviews on Amazon about some other similar prices sets and most people complained about a lack of craftsmanship of little details. Things like the felt wasn’t on right, magnets stink, if it was a folding board there was a big bump in the middle when open because the 2 sides weren’t flush, same pieces were different sizes, pieces were too light or lines on the board didn’t line up in places. I didn’t have any of those problems. Everything was well done! Great craftsmanship. The details were really good. If I had to complain, I would want the chess board to be a little harder and maybe the magnets a little stronger, but they are strong. They don’t move much or at all if I tilt the board but if you go full 180 degree tilt they can move. So I give it a 4 Star. Harder wood and a little stronger magnet would pop it to a 5, butI’m very happy with the set and the lower cost ones with similar characteristics seem to really disappoint people and I’m not disappointed.
