Misleading company

We had two trips for which we "reserved" Super Shuttle's services (2 vans each for group trips) and paid the deposit, but one van never showed up for one trip and neither van showed up for the other. When we investigated, we found out that Super Shuttle doesn't guarantee their services, despite issuing a "confirmation number" when you book a reservation. This is misleading, because if one receives a confirmation for a reservation made then one expects to be picked up. But there is no guarantee one will be picked up, because the drivers and vans are not hired by Super Shuttle, but they bid on the trips and a trip may or may not be chosen. This is misleading and ineffective.
