I've been using this web site since 1998 when it was pac-info.com. I've always thought it was the best resource for public records online, and their efforts to provide a wide array of resources make my job as a researcher easier.
What I use most is their criminal record service. They provide their own reasonably priced huge database, but also provide free direct access to thousands of additional databases online if you want to do the research yourself. Here's an example: The big companies only give limited criminal information from Nevada. SearchSystems.net gives you access to the State Department of Corrections inmate database, Clark and Washoe County court records, Las Vegas inmates and quite a few other databases, including information on where to order criminal histories from the State of Nevada.
Top-notch. I don't know what I'd do without them.
