They don't stand by their work
|
My boyfriend bought a bicycle chain bracelet from Sabrina Silver for my birthday in June. It was lovely to look at, but sadly, it fell apart in three months. I looked at the interior design and realized a tiny, thin little pin was holding the heavy links in place. It was probably lucky the thing lasted me three months. Problems arose when I wrote to the Silver company to see about getting it fixed, preferably with a sturdier locking pin. After several days and still not having heard anything, I emailed the address again. Again, NO response. It's never a good thing when a business refuses to stand by their work. There are many jewelers out there whom I have bought from before, none of them ever caused me a problem before this. All I can say to prospective customers is, GO ELSEWHERE! Jewelery is expensive enough now, it's sad when a company describes itself as being in the "fine jewelery" business and then they run for the hills when they turn out something defective. All we can do is spread the word and refer people elsewhere.
