I would like to take a moment and thank you everyone for their messages they have posted, as I have been attempting to sell my timeshare with the same company since July. I have been reviewing and reading the complaints and I am extremely taken back by this whole thing. I appreciate what everyone has written as I was still optimistic before today and even while reading the posts that it was going to work out, as we really could use the money. I read a post about name ERIC as being a supervisor, and this is the one that I have been talking with, ironically, and each time I call, he says that I cannot talk with the Finance Department and that I will would be contacted by them or sent the paperwork in the mail once it sells.
I too am one of those that, I feel, may have been taken for a scam as well. It is strange but I was called today by someone named Scott Stevens from American Marketing in Florida that purchased a listing for a timeshare, whom he mentioned that he already had a buyer as well....buyer beware...and that I would need to send them a check for $1997 to proceed. WOW!!!its amazing how many companies are out in the world that are scamming people these days. I too would like to think that there is some company out there that is REAL!!! I guess we will have to wait and see...if anyone has ANY LUCK please let the world know.
