Preferred called a small local business I work at and claimed they were a part of AT&T. For the first 3 minutes or so I thought it was AT&T calling to alert our business of a lower price change. When they told me that the bill would be a different billing
name but still AT&T it threw up a red flag, but I stayed on the line anyhow. The supervisor then came on the phone for verification and was completely rude, he explained how Preferred worked and how it was a separate entity, but it took them 5 minutes to explain
that. When I told them I wasn't interested and wasn't authorized to switch over they hung up immediately. Scammers and rude. Do not fall for the calling schemes.
