Review 8/15/2011

Good morning, this is my first review with TrustLink. I'd like to begin with the fact that I've been to this medical shop about five or six times since I've had my card and each time I walk in, I am greeted like a favorite patient. I know I don't go in as much as I would like, due to recent issues with my income, but the compassion given off the bat once you enter is more than nice. Here is my extensive review of my visits:
LOCATION: A quick-stop type shop, I hardly ever walk in having to wait in the waiting room, which is great because the waiting room could only accommodate about three to four patients at most. There is a parking lot in the back of the small shopping center for quick and easy parking if you choose not to park on the side of the busy street right in front of the shop.
VERIFICATION PROCESS: Fast. Only a couple papers to sign if you walk in as a first time patient. On a good day, about 5 minutes and you are on your way to pick your medication.
*An ATM machine is located in the waiting room in case you have no cash on you and don't want to drive to the bank.
BUDROOM: Once inside the bud room, the setup is clean with a visible whiteboard to your right as you enter, displaying all flower strains, their classifications and their price ranges for every budget. Right under the whiteboard are the glass display cases showing the jars of flowers and the strain specific, pre-rolled joints. Directly to your left as you enter, there are bongs for sale as well as a mini fridge filled with medicinal edibles for your choosing. From brownies to lollipops, sativas to hybrids, there are various edibles and buds to fit the preference of all patients alike.
BUDTENDERS: The only bud tender that has helped me each visit is Maurice and I honestly go back because of how helpful and how compassionate he is towards the loyal patients of the shop. I'm not bashing any other bud tender/employee, I just haven't been helped as much by anyone else. All in all, they will work with your budget to fit the patient's medicinal needs.
Now here is a review of one of their top shelf strains that I had from a previous visit:
Bubba OG- Indica
LOOKS: Beautiful lime green nugs with fiery red orange hairs all around. The buds are dense but had the usual irregular "fluff" that characterizes all Bubbas.
SMELL: A pungent, earthy scent with a hint of a diesel undertone (most likely because it is an OG).
TASTE: A FAT bowl out of my bong with ice brings out the pure OG flavor that packs a punch with the first hit, but gets smoother and smoother with every rip. TRUE OG smokers with a palate for OGs will appreciate this bud.
EFFECT: HEAVY couch-lock with minimal need for a thought process. Basically, if you don't need to go anywhere, pack a fat bowl and enjoy. What stress?
TIME: Depending on tolerance, a clean 2 hour high off of a bowl from the bong, 3 tokes max.
GRADE: A+
OVERALL: To summarize perfectly for all my fellow patients: When in La Puente, visit the Co-Op. You will not regret donating in return for effective, quality medicine. I give this great shop a 4 star rating overall but a 5 star in service, quality and compassion. Thanks for letting me review and tell them I sent you to the La Puente Co-Op!
