Poor Customer Service

My daughter is graduating from Sam Houston on May 7. I ordered her invitations on March 28. On Saturday, April 23 an empty zip-tied box arrived from Herff Jones. They failed to properly seal the box. After two hours on hold the following Monday, I spoke with Germaine. He assured me that the replacement invitations would arrive no later than Thursday, April 28. This date was already too late to send the invitations out; however, I had no other arrangements at this time and he offered a 50% discount.
Thursday past and the invitations did not arrive. I spent another hour Friday morning, April 29 on hold to learn that the invitations were not shipped until that morning. The anticipated delivery was 3-5 business days. It was pointless to send the invites out. I requested a supervisor and was told there was not one available. I was transferred to Cheryl Flores (sp) at 217-612-3686. I left my name and number and requested a call back. It’s May 3, she still has not returned my call.
The customer service is unacceptable here. This was a once in a life time event. I selected Herff Jones thinking they were professionals – I was wrong.
