I hired For the Move for a scheduled move from California to Arizona, with the explicit written agreement that if the contract was cancelled prior to 9/23/08, I would receive a full refund. The move was cancelled because we did not move to Arizona. The move was cancelled prior to 9/23/08. I spoke with Marc Lehman, the agent I had been working with. I explained the situation and was told I would receive a full refund. Several weeks after I had not received a refund I called back only to be told Marc no longer worked their. I spoke with Steve Smith, the owner, who told me he thought the refund had been made and he would check and make sure it was made. I waited another couple weeks-still no refund. I called back and was told again that he thought it had been processed. After several more calls I e-mailed him on 10/28/08, demanding my refund to be processed by 11/1/08. He called me and gave me some garbage about switching banks and mix-ups, assuring me I would receive a refund within 24-48 hours. It is November 5, and I still have not received a refund. I called the credit card company and they are researching the transaction. I strongly suggest that no one use this company unless they want headaches and nothing more. All I have received is lies from these people who apparently do not know the meaning of running an ethical business, let alone customer service.
