Great idea poor execution
When I first saw Comf5, it was a video email I received from a vendor thanking me for using his product again. I was floored by this personal message he took the time to send me and considered it the ultimate way to thank a customers. I was so impressed with the video email that he sent me that I signed up and got to work trying to create my own template from scratch. After trying to set up a customized email template for almost a week, I should have realized then and there that this was not the product it was touted to be and should have thrown in the towel and ended my use of this product which was big on promises and short on delivery (Easy wizywig editor my you know what).

After about four months of going back and forth between dreaming of having my video email customized and getting frustrated all over again with this product, I finally found someone who did design work specifially for Comf5. He did great work and I was happy with what he did for me. Unfortunately, after the changes that took place with the Comf5 platform, he decided to jump ship to another platform offering similar services. Not only that, but some of the work I had done myself, was now lost to me after these changes.

I believe this company is run by a bunch of techies who either refuse to make their product user friendly for the people who really matter (that would be their customers) and expect them to know HTML and everything else that a computer/programmer savvy person would know, or they've forgotten what it's like not to know this stuff and how much they would have appreciated having a system designed by an empathetic designer who is willing to put in the time and effort to create a product which lives up to the hype they are lauding it to be.

Whatever the case may be, I'm finally throwing in the towle. This is one dissatisfied customer who has spent his last fifty dollars on a product that could have been great but has fallen short on the ease of use promised by their marketing as well as their deplorable and insulting customer service department which has no idea of what taking care of the people who are putting the money into the bank which writes your paychecks is.
