Save yourselves a big headache. I leased an apartment in that community for one year. Our lease was to expire in February of 2011. We got the lease renewal rates in December of 2010. We decided to move out because they were going to increase the rent from $1,375 to $1,650. We thought it was ridiculous so we decided to move out. Not only that, when we moved out, they sent us a bill for 440.00 because they decided to replace the carpet because it did not meet their "standards." First of all they told us not to clean the apartment once we moved out. Then, they performed the inspection a month before we moved out ( CA tenants' right says the inspection should be performed not earlier than 2 weeks), in addition to that, they did not give us the inspection report to give us a chance to clean the carpet or fix whatever needed to be fixed (CA tenants' rights say they have to give you a copy of the inspection report).
