I hired Air Ride Moving & Storage to move me and was attracted by the price to move. They quoted me 850.00 for 200 cubic feet. I moved a studio apartment, which I was told that could not add up to 200 cubic feet. After they picked up my stuff, they told me that my stuff is 250 cubic feet without even measuring it. That meant that they would increase my 850.00 move to almost 1200.00. To make matters worse, my lcd tv and my beds box spring arrived destroyed beyond recognition. I just want to tell you that you have to be careful of companies which charge by the cubic foot. Good companies charge by weight and actually make an effort at weighing.
