DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!
We had a scheduled move for 9/11/09. I spoke to Tony on 8/22/09 and he told me everything that I wanted to hear,he was nice and made sure that I was told wonderful things about the company and customer satisfaction reviews. I signed up and paid the deposit. The day before the move (9/10/09) they called to tell us that a truck broke down and if I would be able to move on Saturday and not Friday as planned, when I explained that I could not because of the landlord and our lease being up. They said if we would be ok with a later move time frame, 2-4pm guaranteed, which sounded reasonable. On the day of the move we did as much as we could to make it easier on them since the time slot was pushed from 10-11am to 2-4pm, we took most of the boxes in our cars and took them to the new location and moved everything to the front room for them and waited. At 2:40pm I called to see where we were as far as timing, I was told I would get a call back. At 3:20pm we called them again and spoke to a Ronny. He talked down to me saying things like “this is how it’s going to go, we will get to you between 6-8”, “why are you complaining? If I were you I would take it for what it is and realize things happen in life”, “It’s not even past your pick up time, why are you even calling here?” and lastly “You asking so many questions is making me not want to move you”. After saying that he was frustrating me and that I would notify the BBB he said that why would he even work with someone that would complain about his company and he would tell the BBB it was a fake complaint and he would cancel my move.
After calling as many peopls as we could to help us on short notice, we called to cancel only to have Ronny tell us that he could still do the move and have someone sent over sooner. It was a really terrible situation made worse by Ronny. He made the whole ordeal seem like it was our fault and as if he was trying to help things. All he did was give us the run around, talk down to me and tried to insult our intelligence. Save yourself the headache, please find a reputable company that doesn’t go by different names to hide their bad reputation.
