I am interested in getting a mortgage refinance. I have researched a mortgage company called Optimum First that has a A rating from the BBB. I am ultra conservative and want to know if there is any way that I could be defrauded or have a problem by going forward with a mortgage refinancing. I have read all their reviews on TrustLink and it is positive but is there any way that I could be taken advantage of through a refinance process. They have been in business since 2008 with little problems according to the BBB

If you are refinancing, please go to your local bank or credit union to do this.

Be careful. California is full of scam company's. Its always best to work directly with your mortgage company. And it will not cost you anything.
